Beaverland Walk

Join board member Sarah Smith-Levine and take the trail to see the amazing construction and habitat created by our resident active beaver community. We will share history of how beavers impacted our waterways and climate, facts about their activities, and information about living peacefully with them.

The dirt trail out and back to the pond is approx. 2 mi., basically easy, with the usual roots, rocks and terrain expected in trail walking.  This is a family friendly hike, but may be longer than younger children can handle.  Please leave your dog at home; we do welcome them on your individual hikes, but for this event multiple dogs would be gathered too close in the areas we will be visiting and it could disrupt wildlife.  Thank you for understanding.
