About the event
Join your host, John Barnowski, on October 6 th at 10 AM for a journey to our Gateway Property. This is an easy hike.Â
Meet at the Salmon River/ River Road parking lot. Rain or shine!
CLT’s Gateway Property abuts the Air Line Trail, and we will walk about a mile and a quarter to Trail to Gateway. Our property is hilly terrain with exposed bedrock, deposited ravines, forested, with tumbling brooks and waterfalls, and no passable trails.Â
The walk there and back will include descriptions of the flora, fauna, and topography as well as some historical background.Â
