"A trail of two cities" Travel two Spring green trails this St. Patrick's Day! Hike both Bulkeley Hill Preserve in Colchester and Hayward Reserve, Easy Haddam. 6-7 miles total.

You might call this "A trail of two cities".
Join board member, Scott Sivek, as he takes you through two Spring green trails this St. Patrick's Day. This hike will start at Bulkeley Hill Preserve, Colchester, covering all three miles of the trails. Then walk a mile on Bulkeley Hill Road and O'Connell Road into East Haddam. There, hike the brand new two miles of trails at Hayward Reserve, a town property. Total hike distance is approx. 6-7 miles including walking between properties.
Open to the public. Registration recommended. All ages. Leashed dogs welcome, please bring waste bags. Bring water bottles.
CLT Members free / Non-members $5, / All kids under 18 years old are free. Moderate elevation, non-groomed dirt trail with rocks and roots. Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate boots or sneakers. Tick protection is strongly suggested in all seasons.
Bulkeley HIll Preserve does not have a street address. For GPS please use the mailbox at 243 Bulkeley HIll Road, Colchester, CT, the parking lot is directly across from that location. Bulkeley HIll Road is accessible via Rt. 2 to Rt. 16/MIddletown Ave. Turn onto Bulkley HIll Road andthe parking lot is approx. 1.5 miles on your right.
