“We should not forget that it will be just as important to our descendants to be prosperous in their time as it is to us to be prosperous in our time.”―Theodore Roosevelt.

Monthly CLT Events

Colchester Land Trust typically conducts its outings on the first Sunday of each month at 1:00pm, although that is not carved in stone. We are expanding our horizons for 2020, under the guidance of two of our newest Board members.  Most are free, open to the public, and designed to introduce adults and children to the many special places that make Colchester a truly wonderful place to live. Some special events will carry a charge, depending on what is offered. Watch for announcements through social media! CLT paid events in the past have been very well received and we expect that those we offer in 2020 will be equally interesting!

Stay tuned! Adapting to the effects of ongoing medical alert.

We have a list of hikes and events for 2020, but it is in flux. The tentative schedule looks like this. However, real-world events may require that adjustments be made. Please watch this space and other CLT social media channels for updates as we adapt to circumstances.

Monthly Meetings

Next Meeting: Tuesday, September 10th, 2019 at 7:00pm - Town Hall

The Colchester Land Trust regularly meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm at the Colchester Town Hall.  Our meetings are open to the public and all are welcome and encouraged to attend.  The Colchester Land Trust annually devotes one of its meetings to a social gathering of all friends, members, and interested citizens.  Typically taking place in the month of June, the annual friends and members meeting is a wonderful venue for getting to know the officers, board members, general membership, partners and others involved with your local Land Trust.  It is a great way to learn what we've been up to, to celebrate our accomplishments over the year and to learn more about current projects.
